At least, most of the files are in the correct folders, so that was something.Īnybody had any success getting a project over from Lightworks? I don't have that many scenes cut in Lightworks (maybe 15 or 20) but I'd rather save myself the work if I can. I was able to go into my really old project in premiere and import the media from the XML files, so I have most of my structure back, but without most of my logging. The timelines would come across but the footage wouldn't link, even if I already had it in the project, and even if I ignored the file extension (file names haven't changed, but I was trying everything). I tried Final Cut XML, AAF, EDL and none of them worked.

I can't get a single timeline to import properly. So, I recently started to move things over.

Then, Resolve came out with a brilliant editing suite, including audio, and I was sold (in all fairness the project has been on ice for a long time). I have been editing my feature film in Lightworks (after ditching Premiere) and had always planned to do my grade in Resolve. I know this is more of a Lightworks question than Resolve, but maybe someone has an idea.
